The initial reason to get Timbermaw Hold reputation is so that you can safely get through the tunnel to Moonglade and
Winterspring. However, once you get through, you can get the flightpath and ignore that tunnel. You need to gain at least
"Unfriendly" reputation to stop them from attacking you. Other reasons to get Timbermaw Hold reputation are the rewards
above. These are mainly focused on professions, however, there are a few other rewards that might motivate you to increase
your reputation, for example the exalted reputation trinket.
- Everyone starts out at 2500/3000 Hostile reputation.
- Warning: Do not attack any Timbermaw Hold furbolgs or you will ruin your reputation with them. When you first see them, they will attack you. You need to refrain from attacking them and just run away. Do not be in the party with anyone else who is attacking them.
There are four ways to increase your Timbermaw Hold reputation: kill Deadwood furbolgs (Felwood), kill Winterfall furbolgs
(Winterspring), quests, and repeatable quests.
Quests
There are some quests you can complete to increase your reputation. The first one is Timbermaw Ally. You can get this quest from
Grazle, located in southern Felwood along the road. He's friendly. After that there are other quests you can do. Nafien is
located outside the Timbermaw Hold tunnel entrance north of Felwood. To get that first quest you will need to kill
enough evil furbolgs (Deadwood) in southern Felwood to reach Unfriendly reputation. Then you can get his quests.
After completing quests, you can start to get Deadwood Headdress Feathers which can be repeatedly turned in for
reputation. It takes 5 to turn in for 150 reputation points. They stack in piles of 250. If you're trying to reach
Exalted reputation, you should wait until Revered reputation before turning in the feathers. In Winterspring, you
can also get Winterfall Spirit Beads after completing a quest. These also can be collected and turned in repeatedly
for reputation. You'll need to talk to Salfa, a furbolg hiding just outside the tunnel on the Winterspring side. After
completing her quest, you will start to get beads. There's three different furbolgs you can get quests from in total.
Sometimes you may find a Deadwood Ritual Totem in Felwood when you kill the Deadwood furbolgs. You can turn this in with a
furbolg in the Timbermaw Hold tunnel after reaching friendly reputation.
Killing Monsters
There are Deadwood furbolgs in two camps in Felwood (north and south) and Winterfall furbolgs at several camps throughout
Winterspring. Each Winterfall or Deadwood furbolg gives 5 reputation points until Revered. Deadwood Boss Overlord Ror and
Chieftain Bloodmaw give 15 reputation points and are both located in Felwood. High Chief Winterfall is located near Everlook
in Winterspring and gives 25 reputation points per kill. There are a few rare furbolgs that also give reputation.
You will only receive reputation up until Revered for most monsters. After that, you'll mainly need to collect beads or feathers.
