Each summer, the arrival of the Midsummer Fire Festival signals a time of merriment and a chance to revel in the hottest season of the year by lighting celebratory bonfires across the land and sharing in what the elemental spirits have to offer. This year ( beginning Sunday, June 21st and continuing until July 5), the festival features achievements and new locations in Northrend. People are asking where the flashmap went. We removed it because it was really outdated. It was missing a lot of information including flight paths and various new areas. It was not easy to update and we intend on replacing it with an Azeroth map similar to our Northrend and Outland Maps. But don't expect this map soon. We hope to have it out sometime in 2009, if possible. Until then, we don't have an Azeroth map. You can check out the fan sites for their maps.

Children's Week - Nebu on 5/1/09
Children's Week is celebrated once a year in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Shattrath City. The week-long celebration is a time to give back to the innocents of war: the orphans! Noblegarden Comes to Azeroth - Nebu on 4/27/09
The Noblegarden event is returning to Azeroth with some new additions. Players can take part in the druidic festivities spreading 'round all corners of the map all week beginning Sunday, April 26, and ending Sunday, May 3.
Features include:
- Noblegarden egg hunt and daily quests located in starting towns such as Goldshire, Razor Hill, Kharanos, and Brill
- All-new Noblegarden treats and prizes found rarely in eggs
- Chocolate as a currency! (Or just indulge your sweet tooth)
- All new achievements found in the World Events tab
Please join us in celebrating this annual event like never before. Whether you celebrate Noblegarden in a traditional manner or you have a longing for sweet chocolates and festive garments, we hope you're able to come together and give yourself a break from competing in cutthroat Arena battles or laying siege to Ulduar.

The Argent Tournament Coming to Northrend - Nebu on 4/2/09
As players begin to discover the many Secrets of Ulduar in patch 3.1, the Argent Crusade invites Azeroth's bravest heroes to prove their worth in the Argent Tournament. In preparation for a fatal blow against the Lich King and his Scourge, the Argent Crusade will be hosting competitive games, giving players another chance to build reputation with the capital cities of the Horde and Alliance. The most battle-hardened contestants will have access to a host of enticing items as the Argent Crusade begins construction on the Coliseum, where valorous battles testing the might of all challengers are to come. Let the games begin!

If you've written an excellent guide about one of the game's many professions, there's a good chance we'll link to it on worldofwarcraft.com! Here are the requirements:
- Guide must be focused entirely on at least one of the twelve professions of World of Warcraft
- Blizzard does not host guides; they must be hosted on your own web server
- Site must be capable of getting traffic from our web site (estimated 1,000-20,000 hits a day)
- Guides must contain quality information
- Must not contain offensive content or link to offensive content
- We will link to guides posted in the World of Warcraft forums only if they have been stickied by the Community Team
- Advertising links on your site must not link to sites that violate the

tree which has some outdated talents. The armory talents are still not fully updated. Feel free to report
any errors besides the Death Knight. Make sure you delete your temporary internet files and check the talents again before reporting errors.

Brewfest Is Coming - Nebu on 09/15/08
Celebrated by both the Horde and the Alliance, the Brewfest is a time to enjoy the fermented fruits of the harvest: pretzels, cheese, and booze! The competing breweries Thunderbrew, Barleybrew, and the Ogres, all come together outside of all the major cities in a bid to outdo each other with their special ales, meads, and beers. This year's iteration of the holiday includes new content such as a special boss who drops epic rewards, the Brew of the Month club, and more. Brewfest runs from September 20 to October 4.
The Harvest Festival Is Here - Nebu on 09/10/08
Each year, the Harvest Festival commemorates those who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of others. The Alliance honors the memory of all the fallen, but most especially Uther Lightbringer. The Horde also remembers those who have fallen, with special emphasis on the memory of Grom Hellscream. Be sure to sample the free food and drink commemorating the occasion. The Harvest Festival runs until September 13.

The Midsummer Fire Festival Begins - Nebu on 06/19/08
Each summer, the arrival of the Midsummer Fire Festival signals a time of merriment and a chance to revel in the hottest season of the year by lighting celebratory bonfires across the land and sharing in what the elemental spirits have to offer. This year (beginning tomorrow and continuing until July 5), the festival features some brand-new events, quests, and prizes, including a special summoned boss for groups of high-level players.
