Spectral Safari Screenshot Contest

You've hunted the deadly King Bangalash. You've trekked across Nagrand to overcome Tusker, the queen of elekks. Now you can aim for the most prestigious prize of them all, the elusive spectral tiger.

Only the most courageous adventurers can overcome the perils of Azeroth and Outland in the search for this coveted animal. To decide who is the bravest and most determined, we will be assessing your screenshots, taken in the very teeth of danger!

In partnership with Upper Deck Entertainment, we're holding a special screenshot contest to go along with the Spectral Safari Beginners Tournament taking place on March 1 across the US and Europe. Visit Upper Deck's official website for more information about locations and dates.

The rules for participating in the Spectral Safari Screenshot Contest are simple, but the risks are great:
  • Gather all your courage and snap a picture of your character in the midst of a perilous situation.
  • Use the "Speech Bubble" option in the game to make your character say "Safari" while taking the screenshot. This keyword is required to enter the contest, so don't forget it.
  • Use all the elements you can to give some spice to your pictures: landscape, monsters, other players, etc.
  • Submit your screenshot here. This contest will run from February 26 to March 5.
The winners will be announced on our website and will be notified by email so that they can claim their prizes. While only one winner will be awarded the Spectral Tiger card, even runners-up can win some amazing prizes: second place will receive a Robotic Homing Chicken card, and the top five entrants will each receive one World of Warcraft Trading Card Game (TCG) March of the Legion booster box (24 booster packs).

To increase your chances of being picked as one of the winners, please keep the following items in mind when posing for and taking the screenshots you intend to submit:
  • Remember to disable player and NPC names unless they are relevant to the screenshot.
  • Turn up your graphics settings to the highest quality to ensure that your screenshot is the best it can be. Once you've taken the screenshot, you can return the settings to their normal levels.
  • Screenshots that are heavily or obviously modified in a program such as Adobe Photoshop will not be accepted.
  • Your submission must be in JPEG format and be less than 2 MB in size. Within that limit, make sure the screenshot looks as good as possible and don't overcompress it.
And don't forget, you have another chance to win a Spectral Tiger or Robotic Homing Chicken card by entering the TCG Spectral Safari Beginners Tournament on March 1. Check out Upper Deck's site for more information.
