World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Sweepstakes

1. Eligibility.

   BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, INC., A DELAWARE CORPORATION (referred to herein as "SPONSOR") IS THE SPONSOR OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES. THE SWEEPSTAKES IS MADE UP OF TWO SEPARATE SWEEPSTAKES (collectively, the "Sweepstakes"):
   1. THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY MAIN SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING THE STATES OF FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND, PUERTO RICO AND OTHER U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS) WHO ARE EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE REGISTERED A WORLD OF WARCRAFT USER ACCOUNT IN GOOD STANDING AS OF OCTOBER 29, 2006; AND
   2. THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY LEGACY PLAYERS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING THE STATES OF FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND, PUERTO RICO AND OTHER U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS) WHICH ARE EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE REGISTERED A WORLD OF WARCRAFT USER ACCOUNT IN GOOD STANDING AS OF NOVEMBER 29, 2005.
   IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. To be eligible to win a prize, the World of Warcraft user account that you have registered must be in good standing, and individuals who have registered World of Warcraft accounts that are permanently banned during, or prior to, the Sweepstakes Period, are not eligible to enter or receive a prize. Sponsor directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, Comcast Corporation, and their respective parents, affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, "Released Parties"), and immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members, whether or not related, of each are not eligible to enter or win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sweepstakes is void in Florida, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited. Limit one entry per World of Warcraft account, and an individual entrant may only win one prize during the Sweepstakes. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the World of Warcraft account.

2. Disclaimer.

   Released Parties are not be responsible for: (a) lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries; (b) lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (c) other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes.

3. Sweepstakes Period.

   The Sweepstakes shall commence on October 29, 2006 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time ("PT"), and end on December 11,2006 at 11:59 PM PT ("Sweepstakes Period").

4. How to Enter the Sweepstakes:

   All eligible individuals will be automatically entered into the World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Main Sweepstakes and/or the World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Legacy Players Sweepstakes, as applicable. No other form of entry will be accepted.

5. Prizes.

   1. World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Main Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be chosen at random as follows:
      1. Each business day during the first week of the Sweepstakes Period (October 30, 2006 through November 5, 2006 ), two (2) potential winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entrants to receive a Jinx Gift Certificate with an approximate retail value of $100.00.
      2. Each business day during the second week of the Sweepstakes Period (November 6, 2006 through November 12, 2006), two (2) potential winner will be chosen at random from all remaining eligible individuals to receive (1) "Razer Copperhead™ Precision mouse, (1) Razer Mantis™ Control / Speed Mat and (1) Barracuda HP-1 Headset with an approximate retail value of $250.00.
      3. Each business day during the third week of the Sweepstakes Period (November 13, 2006 through November 19, 2006), two (2) potential winner will be chosen at random from all remaining eligible individuals to receive a Apple 80 GB iPod with Video Playback and (1) $100.00 JINX Gift Certificate with an approximate retail value of $500.00.
      4. Each business day during the fourth week of the Sweepstakes Period (November 20, 2006 through November 26, 2006), two (2) potential winners will be chosen at random from all remaining eligible individuals to receive a 1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® 7950 graphics card and (1) $100.00 JINX Gift Certificate with an approximate retail value of $800.00.
      The approximate retail value of all prizes awarded during the Sweepstakes is $16,500.00
   2. World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Legacy Players Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be chosen at random to receive a prize as follows:
      1. Each business day during the fifth week of the Sweepstakes Period (December 5, 2006 through December 11, 2006), one (1) potential winner will be chosen at random from among all eligible individuals to receive an XPS Gaming Laptop (1) $100.00 JINX Gift Certificate and 2-year World of Warcraft subscription with an approximate retail value of $3,245.00 U.S

6. Odds of Winning.

   Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entrants for the applicable drawing. Nonwinning eligible entrants from one drawing will be included in subsequent drawings for the same Sweepstakes. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE AS WELL AS ANY COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF A PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within the time period specified by Sponsor will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per household or address. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

7. Determination of Winners.

   Drawings for prizes will take place each day during the Sweepstakes Period, and each potential winner will be announced on the website located at www.worldofwarcraft.com by announcing the name of the character, and the server that the character is assigned to, which has the most time played on the user account registered by the winner. Additionally, potential winners will be notified by e-mail within five (5) days thereafter. To claim a prize, potential winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification. Entrants whose names or screen names are posted on the website as winners are not eligible to receive a prize until the verification process has been completed and they have complied with all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Each entrant can only win one (1) prize during the Sweepstakes Period.

8. Affidavit & Release.

   As a condition of being awarded any prize, potential winners may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor within a specified time period an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity. Failure to do so within the time period specified or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the prize to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue.

9. Collection of Information.

   The information submitted to Sponsor during your World of Warcraft account registration will be used to contact you in the event that you are chosen to receive a prize and as otherwise specified in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/about/privacy.html

10. General Release.

    By participating, eligible individuals agree to release and hold harmless Released Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

11. Winners List, Rules Request.

    For a copy of the winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope after January 10, 2007 and before June 30, 2007 to Sponsor at the following address: "World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Sweepstakes -Winners List," c/o Blizzard Entertainment, P.O. Box 18979, CA 92612. To obtain a copy of these rules, send a stamped, self-addressed business-size envelope to Sponsor at the following address: World of Warcraft 2nd Year Anniversary Sweepstakes -Rules Request, c/o Blizzard Entertainment, P.O. Box 18979, Irvine CA 92612. Residents of WA and VT may omit return postage on rules requests.

13. Miscellaneous.

    The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes affect the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select the potential winner(s) for the Sweepstakes and/or drawing at issue from all eligible, non-suspect entries received for that Sweepstakes and/or drawing prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Sweepstakes or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Sweepstakes or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
