e'll be giving prizes to the best Blizzard-themed costumes from the Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo game universes. We have had very fun and successful costume contests in 2004 and again at BlizzCon in 2005, and we're excited to offer this contest again this year. Time to get out those scissors!

From 12:00 A.M. PDT on Monday, October 9 through 12:00 A.M. PDT on Friday, October 27, we will be accepting submissions for our 2006 Halloween Costume Contest! Dress up as your favorite character or creature from our Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo game universes and send us the pictures.

People who come up with the most creative costumes will get their pictures posted on the WoW and Blizzard.com for all to enjoy. In addition to that:

The top five submissions to the World of Warcraft Costume Contest will receive a copy of the World of Warcraft, and a 1-year subscription to the game.
