e are proud to announce that Blizzard will be part of the Lanwar event taking place in Louisville, KY, from June 15 through June 18. Lanwar is the first stop in the World Series of Video Games, a series of tournaments and events around the world where gamers can get together and compete for glory, honor, and awesome prizes. As part of the Lanwar event, we will be hosting a series of tournaments and contests for Starcraft, Warcraft III and World of Warcraft.

Just like at last year's BlizzCon, the Blizzard section will be a great place to bring your own PC and play with your guild, clan, and friends over an enormous LAN. Blizzard employees will also be attending the show to answer your questions and to mingle with the players, so make sure to stop by and say hello.

Warcraft III is also one of the official titles of the WSVG. Each tour stop, including Lanwar, features a official tournament that culminates in an end-of-year final. Sign-ups are open to all on the Lanwar webpage.
